A George III mahogany snap top tripod table, the well figured top with moulded edge and snap action supported by a turned column with three foliate carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet. Diameter 19.25 ins. CONDITION REPORT: It is a little difficult to tell whether the top and base have always been together. It does however look as if the table has been through a restorers workshop within the last 10-15 years and there are other marks and holes on the underside of the base which suggests that the top and bottom may be associated.
An 18th century burr elm topped tripod table The dished circular top above the turned elm column, standing on three outswept legs with pad feet. 42 cm diameter. CONDITION REPORTS: Some staining and fading, some water marks, some small splits, bowing to top, some old woodworm damage, metal strengtheners to underside of legs, general wear.
