A George II Style Walnut Scallop Edge Top Tripod Table, the moulded top decorated with anthemion enclosing a curved needlework panel of gros and petit point flowering plants, on a turned vasiform support with three carved cabriole legs, 74cm by 72cm Age related wear scuffing and scratches throughout. The underside of tripod with metal strengthening, Fading to the edge. Wear and fading to the embroidered top. The top is a little loose.
A George III mahogany tea table, the circular top with pie-crust rim, raised on a turned and wrythen carved pedestal to carved cabriole tripod base and claw and ball feet CONDITION REPORTS Has a split running nearly half way through from one edge which has previously been repaired. Other various repairs including replacement clasp, etc to the back. Some larger chips predominantly to the pedestal base. In need of a clean. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. A George III oak tripod occasional table, with snap action, turned column and three downswept legs terminating in pad feet. Diameter 79 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table top is flat and not warped. The table is structurally sound. The snap action operates as it should. The centre column is in good condition. All three legs have had wear to the pad feet. The bottoms of each pad have been built up. There is a crack to the side of one of the legs, the same leg is loose at the joint where it joins the centre boss. There are approximately eight old woodworm holes to the very end of one foot. The woodworm is clearly long gone. The colour is generally good.
A Georgian walnut tripod table, with shaped top, turned column and three downswept legs terminating in pad feet. CONDITION REPORT: The table top and base are a very similar colour. They do look as if they match. There is no evidence of any other bearers to the underside of the table. The brass retaining clip is an old but a later replacement. The square block at the top of the table does not look to be as old as one would expect. Perhaps this has been replaced.
