Xiajiadian culture pottery vessel of elongated Li-ding form, wide flaring rim raised on triple supports, black pigmented decoration, restored, 26cm and a larger more bulbous vessel with rope work impressed decoration, 22cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: Half the flared rim restored in the tripod vase. Scratches to body. Second vase with incised body has 2cm chip to rim.
A Chinese carved hardwood marble topped occasional table, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) The variegated rouge marble inset circular top, within circular carved surround, extending to a heavily carved central stem, detailed with dragon amidst fire scrolls, extending to three tripod supports, terminating at paw feet and detailed in taotie masks, 74cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Several visible splits to the wood at the central pedestal stem. Scuffing and small wood loss visible throughout. The underside reveals several repairs and losses to the pegged areas (please refer to images).
A Japanese satsuma teapot, Meiji Period (1868-1912) Of compressed globular form, raised on three short swept tripod supports, with concave intregated cover and bamboo swing handle, the exterior sides, heavily detailed in gilt and enamels with fan shaped panels filled with depictions of formal gardens, bijin and warriors, reserved against a dense ground embellished with chrysanthemum and geometric panels, 7.5cm high, Gyokuzan and Shimazu family crest marks to base.
