A square-topped mahogany occasional table with undertier and shaped cabriole legs (40cm) together with a mahogany tripod wine table by Cottage Industry Handmade Furniture, Ludlow England (2)Condition Report: The wine table has a stick on label of cottage industry handmade furniture to the underside, in very nice condition overall, a few little minor dings to the ends of the legs as expected, the top looks very good and in the Auctioneer's condition is 20-40 years old. The larger square topped table has no maker's labels or stamps and is not by the same maker as the wine table. Some of the veneers are coming up around the edge and this could be circa 1930/50s. Some minor scuffing but confined to the bottom of the legs as expected.

CASED 19THC TELESCOPE - R NEILL, BELFAST a large brass telescope with various attachments and lenses etc, and with a tripod stand. In a fitted mahogany case with a label for Francis M Moore, Belfast (Chronometer maker to the Lords of the Admiralty, Watchmaker, Optician, the telescope marked for R Neill, Belfast. Main section 73cms long. Also with a 19thc single drawer telescope by Harris & Co, London, 84cms long fully extended. (2)
A pair of 19th Century tall torchere bust stands / plant stands / display plinths having circular table tops with gilt painted rams heads, twisted decoration to the sides united by a finial trefoil stretcher to the legs. A Fine 4-inch Reflecting Telescope by Watkins & Smith,English, c.1770, in lacquered brass with speculum metal mirror, with starfinder and two eyepices, on high quality alt-azimuth mount with micrometer-screw adjustment, the ornate brass tripod with turned and faceted column, the telescope boldly engraved 'Watkins & Smith Charing Cross London', in original substantial fitted mahogany case with brass carrying handles and escutcheon, telescope length 72cm with eyepiece. Note: Francis Watkins and Addison Smith were in partnership between 1763 and 1774.

One leg is a modern replacement, made of resin. The tip of one of the other original feet, slightly worn. There are other natural blemishes around the body in keeping with its age and material.
