A collection of good quality circa 1960's fashions to include a blue silk and chiffon evening dress by Jean Allen, London, a blue shift dress by Jaeger, a aqua green shot silk shift dress by Brown's of Chester, further handmade examples etc (8) CONDITION REPORT: Jean Allen dress with some minor loose beading at shoulder, signs of adjustment at waist and shoulder straps. No apparent rips, holes or stains. Marked size 12/36 but very small by modern standards; waist measured flat side to side approx 12". Green / aqua dress waist approx 14" - good condition. Cream & grey floral dress waist approx 13" - good condition. Green & gold wide shift dress in good condition, free size, waist approx 20". Cream silk day dress with some minor marks and discolouration underarms, waist approx 11.5". Jaegar dress in good condition, may have been altered at some point, free size. Aqua beaded dress with some minor loss to beading, waist approx 26". Grey green silk beaded shift in good condition, waist approx 13".
Three good quality black wool capes, to include a Gieves of London by appointment to HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, Naval Tailors and Outfitters, decorated with naval feature buttons, a further vintage cape from Gieves, and a gold light weight cape with velvet collar by Christine Thompson (3) (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Naval cape, good overall condition. Some light coloured water type staining to lining. Approx 107cm, chest measured laid flat side to side, second button down approx. 83cm. Gold lined cloak in good condition, some pinprick holes by left arm hole. Aprox. 130cm long, approx. 73cm across at 3rd button. Last gives clock with some light staining (dry cleaning or sponging to remove?), discolouration to lining around neck, variouse pen marks and further staining/discolouration in line with age (circa 1950s). Buttons missing Approx 110cm long, 75cm across.
Chanel: Three pairs of vintage Chanel clip earrings, dating from circa 1980's, to include a black and gold tone floral form pair with central plaque depicting a woman's profile and 'Coco Chanel, Paris, France', presented in Chanel box (3) CONDITION REPORT: Condition in line with age and wear, light surface scratches/abrasions, comfort pads to clip are degraded and/or missing.
Chanel: A circa 1980's ladies gold plated quartz wristwatch, the black dial with faceted crystal glass to octagonal gold plated case and original blade and gold plated plaited link bracelet, dial case and buckle signed Chanel, case width 20mm, in Chanel box CONDITION REPORT: Good overall condition in line with age and light wear, very light surface abrasions/scratches, currently not in working order (maybe in need a battery)
Chanel: Three pairs of vintage Chanel clip earrings, circa 1970-1985 to include a gold tone pair with central red section overlaid with classic interlocking 'C's presented in Chanel box (3) CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition in line with light wear, comfort pads to clips are perishing, the earrings are together in one large box, presumably as the vendor has kept them over the years.
