A 19th Century Belgian Six Shot Pinfire Revolver, with traces of original blued finish, the 7cm round barrel set with a 10cm double wavy edged steel bayonet to the left side, the right side with ejector rod, the cylinder with hinged loading gate, with folding trigger and ivory grip scales, the barrel, frame and cylinder inlaid with gold tendrils, 23cm. Action works. Bayonet is fixed. Small loss of gold inlay to part of barrel. Light pitting to metalwork, the blued finish is now a dark brown.

An Early 19th Century Continental Percussion Sporting Rifle, possibly German, converted from a flintlock, .577 calibre, the 81cm octagonal browned steel barrel inset with maker's gold monogrammed poincon, with blade sight, plain blued steel lock plate, the walnut full stock with horn fore-end tip, double chequered fore-end and grip, the right side of the butt with sliding patch box cover, the left side with raised cheekpiece, the curved brass butt plate with shaped tang, pierced side plate, scroll trigger guard with finger rest and acorn finial, with set trigger, steel sling swivels and brass mounted steel ramrod, 123cm. Action works, holds at full and half cock. Set trigger works. Deep groove rifling with some pitting. Some wear to browning on barrels. Converted from a flintlock. Minor bruising to the stock. Generally in good condition.

A Victorian scarlet officer's sabraque for the 1st Gloucestershire Hussars, bearing silver and gold wire cypher, later framed and glazed CONDITION REPORTS Some fading and discoloration and staining in areas. Numerous holes across the piece. Areas of loss to the material. Holes to the leather. Missing stitches. Areas are threadbare. The sabraque is in half. Holes are possibly made by moth. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. The size including frame is 150 cm approx. by 98 cm approx. See photos for more details.
17TH CENTURY ANGLO DUTCH SCHOOL "Lady seated wearing a wide brimmed black hat with lace ruff and cuffs, coral and pearl beads and gold bracelets, a gold watch upon a table at her side", bearing armorial and inscription "Through slander and praise" top left and "aetutis etutis suae aprili:8.1618.", oil on panel, unsigned, together with a companion portrait of "Gentleman in wide brimmed black hat with ruff, his left hand upon his hip, his right holding a pair of gloves", inscribed with armorial and inscription "God's providence is my inheritance" top right and "aetatis saue, 52-15 marty.1617", approx 91 cm x 71 cm and 91 cm x 68.5 cm respectively CONDITION REPORTS The painting of the lady has been cleaned with areas of touching up throughout to include the face and hands. There are also two horizontal stripes noticeable where the panels are as well as other areas of touching up throughout the background. Otherwise signs of cracking to the paintwork throughout and some signs of rubbing to the paint where it meets the slip in the top left hand corner. Small flakes of paint missing throughout and some "blistering" to the paint, crazing to the paint and varnish, dusty and in need of a clean. General wear and tear to include some surface scratches etc. See images for more details. The gentleman in the lot has also been cleaned heavily throughout. Some areas of touching up to the face especially the front cheek as well as the index finger and hand. Other areas of touching up throughout. The panel itself is bowed and there are splits running down the panel, areas of paintwork have "blistered" and is cracking. General wear and tear to include surface scratches, craquelure, dust and accretions. Some areas of flaking most noticeably to the right hand arm as you look at the painting. Under UV there appears to be extensive repainting and restoration also cleaning mainly to the head and hands. Some wear to the paint to the sides near the slip. A ladies wrist watch by Rolex in 9ct gold case, hallmarked for 1915. The faded dial has black arabic numerals with a red twelve numeral (faded) and the movement has a bi-metallic balance and lever escapement. The case back is numbered 675138 and the watch has a black leather rope type strap.. The watch 1in diam overall.
A 1950's chronograph Swisse gentleman's watch, the case with two tone gold dial and 18ct gold back. The chronograph movement has the usual fly back centre seconds with side operated push pieces and separate seconds dial and minute counting dial. The movement is anti magnetic and has a bi-metallic balance and a lever escapement. The case 1.5in diam. overall.
A gentleman's English lever pocket watch, the movement signed H.R Goodwin, Macclesfield and numbered 30583. The movement has round baluster pillars, a plain balance and engraved balance cock and is fitted with an internal dust cover. The completely gold dial is in three shades with raised Roman numerals, a separate seconds dial and and engine turned centre. It is contained in an 18ct gold case, hallmarked for 1851 which has an engine turned back and edge. Case 2in diam. overall.
