Further information: The charm chain links are stamped 9 Ct, as are the mount to the half sovereign, the 10 s note holder, the miniature tankard and the cockerel. There seems to be a stamp of some sort on the heart pendant which is set with a chip diamond (tested) and two small coloured stones, the propelling pencil holder is set with two bands of chip diamonds (tested) but no hallmark is obvious. The remaining charms including a jewelled orb, an Ostrich, a rabbit, a lion, a key, a Scottie dog, a hunting horn with fox mask, a pony and a beaver are apparently not hallmarked, neither is the short odd piece of chain although the metal appears to very soft as the links are badly worn.
