A late 18th Century French 18ct gold quarter repeating pocket watch, the dial engraved a woman seated on a terrace, a bird perched on her hand, a mirror in her left hand reflecting the same, having Arabic numerals and key wind at 2 o'clock, the movement with chased and engraved surround and similar decoration to the centre plates, having a central verge escapement and silvered advance/retard dial, with single hour repeat gong and twin quarter gong, 6cm diameter/see illustration
A sapphire and diamond ring, set with three graduated sapphires within four illusion set diamonds, on an 18ct gold and platinum shank, ring size L½/see illustration Condition Report: Slight abrasions to facets of sapphires otherwise condition good. Central sapphire measures 7.7mm x 6.4mm x 5mmm deep. Others 4.7mm x 4.1mm x 3mm and 4.9mm x 4.4mm x 3.1mm. Measurements approximate. The central sapphire does have inclusions and slight irregularities to the surface suggest that some may reach the surface of the stone. Vibrant colour.
