18th CENTURY CHINESE DOU CHAI INK WELL Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty hand painted enameled Dou Chai porcelain scholar`s desk inkwell. Vivid multicolor design to exterior depicting bats, flowers and lingzhi. Top has opening for dipping pen or brush. Bottom holds six character blue archaic Qianlong (1736-1795) reign mark, and is of the period. Measures 2 3/8" height x 4 3/8" diameter (6cm x 11.1cm). Total weight of 410 grams.
