French faience pottery inkwell, by Gien, white ground with fuchsia highlights, scallop shell with dolphin either side, actual inkwells been replaced, width 21.5cm, height 10cm.Condition report:Both lids have some restoration and small chips to the rims, the wells look to have been replaced. The main body has a crack along to front rim edges, light rubbing to the edges and corners all over, no other cracks or chips. Please see the added photos online.
