This ink well was given to an Indian Army Colonel by a Maharaja c.1916. CONDITION REPORT: The back section is by design a seperate section to the base and is held together with three pegs and a screw, the enamel decoration shows some signs of wear and small areas of losses noticeable where the circular finial meets the lid.

The form recalls an inkwell.
