A George V hallmarked silver capstan inkwell, with hinged lid, on spreading circular base (lacking liner), Birmingham 1928, maker's mark rubbed (af). CONDITION REPORT: There are three dints to the hinged lid and it is slightly warped and not closing flush. As mentioned in the description, it is lacking its liner. Further minor surface wear including scuffs, scrapes, nicks, etc to the spreading circular base.
