An antique late 19th Century French Silver inkstand / inkwell circa 1880. The stylised glass body with lobed and straight edges, featuring etched decoration to the surface, with elegant silver mounts featuring geometric and floral motifs, with a galleried back, set to the centre with an ink well featuring rams head and floral embellishments, with a domed hinged lid. Diameter 25cm / 10".
