A Monart glass millefiori inkwell and stopper, decorated with colourful millefiori canes on a purple ground, the inkwell reservoir with spiral purple lines, 11.5cm high. Provenance: Alexander G. Hendrie, Supervisor/ Works overseer at the Moncrieff Glass for 47 years, retired in 1961. The present lot was formed part of a display housed in the Shore Works, Shore Road, Perth and was gifted on retirement.

An Edwardian silver inkstand with shaped rectangular outline embossed with flower heads and C scrolls, centred by two cut glass and silver mounted inkwells, flanked by pen recesses, on scroll feet (Sheffield, 1907) CONDITION REPORTS Has general wear, scratches, scuffs etc conducive with age and use, and is dirty. The base has some small dents/misshapen areas although nothing major. One inkwell is cracked all the way through, the other the silver top finial is pushed down, glass is nibbled on both bodies.
