Fine silver plated golfing inkwell desk set c. 1895 – comprising Vic golfer at the top of his swing mounted on an oval naturalistic base, beside 2x bar boundary fence together with pen rest comprising 2x crossed longnose golf clubs resting on a square cut golf ball – together with 2x cut glass inkwells – all mounted on a decorative base with matching golf ball feet - based stamped with makers mark– overall 6.5”h x 7.5” x 10.25”. Note: Probably the finest desk set seen at auction
An early 20thC cut glass scent bottle, with silver mount, of ovoid shape with faceted stoppers (hallmark rubbed), 15cm, a Edward VII silver egg cup, Birmingham 1907 inscribed D.H. from Mrs Chennell November 25th 1908, on a domed circular foot, 6.5cm high, loaded, a glass inkwell with a silver cover (chipped).(3)
