Light surface scratches, but free from any dents or damage.
A Victorian walnut desk stand, of serpentine form with moulded glass inkwell and enamelled lid, width approx 29.5cm, together with two copper kettles and covers with acorn finials, a copper and steel oval cooking pan, four stoneware beer bottles, two glass Codd bottles and other items (qty).Additional InformationThe lid to the inkwell is detached from the glass, general scuffs and marks to the wood surface, some sun damage. Both copper kettles with general dents and over polishing throughout. The oval copper cooking dish with polished appearance and general tarnishing to the inside. One of the stoneware bottles is imprinted for H Singleton of Stockport, this is chipped to the underside of the base and with a smaller nick. Another of the stoneware pots is named for Groves and Whitnall Ltd Salford, chip to the shoulder and other grazes and nicks. One of the stoneware bottles with a pseudo armorial for Wovenden Sale chemist. One of the cod bottles named for JH Chuff Manchester, this is quite chipped and cracked at the collar and heavily worn on the surface, the other cod bottle, also named for the same maker but of a better appearance.

A&J ZIMMERMAN; a George V hallmarked silver loaded oval inkwell with hinged lid, Birmingham 1925, width 13.8cm.Additional InformationThe top had an inscription which has been erased, it is also quite loose and is sprung. A couple of pin head sized dents throughout. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed and there are a couple of dents around the base.
