Victorian cast brass and glass platform inkwell of hunting interest, the base set with four bronzed electrotype panels in high relief depicting stags, grouse, hares and birds, the well of globe shape of ruby flash cut faceted glass having stag finial, 23cm tall. Stag horns have losses. Glass nibbled to the main body at the high points.Foot rim has multiple chips. Dirty throughout. Appears to be metal polish residue stuck in recessed areas to the metal top and throughout metal base. Possible repairs to underside of the base.
