A COLLECTION OF SILVER ITEMS comprising a cased set of bean end coffee spoons, an Edwardian crested mustard pot with spoon and blue glass liner, a small four division toast rack, a small dredger type pepperette, a vesta case, small loaded inkwell, and a souvenir spoon, 282g (90 troy ozs) gross weighable, also with a Dutch caddy spoon, a plated sauceboat, and plated flatware.
An early 20th century silver plated neo-Egyptian desk stand, the shaped and decorated base with recess for pens, on four feet, in the form of sphinx supporting a sarcophagus on ball feet, a sphinx to the lift-off top containing two glass inkwells, Egyptian inscription to one side and inscription verso Prince of Wales feathers and 'Ich Dien, Major and Mrs George Cooper March 14th 1914' 37 x 20cm. CONDITION REPORT Overall good condition, no apparent damage or restoration, one small nut missing from under the lid to secure the sphinx. Very slight surface scratching in a few areas, one glass inkwell has rim chips.
