A WW2 glider/aircraft escape axe, the head with Broad Arrow stamp, the rubber handle with label affixed reading "Found at Diersfordter Wald Wood [...] Germany. Battlefield tour, Mike Ross, March 1975, 30th Anniversary Battle Rhine Crossing (Military Marine)"; together with a heavy copper Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve wall plaque, marked "Glasgow" verso, measuring approx. 17cm in diameter; and a solid brass bust Robert Burns, approx. 18cm in height (3) Condition Report:Available upon request
Circa 1000-750 BC Bronze Age socketed axe head with loop suspension and ornamental six-rib design extending down both sides from the open end. The blade is crescent-shaped and remains reasonably sharp and intact. Dimensions: the blade measures 54mm across, while the total length is 105mm. Condition: exceptional, uncleaned and unwaxed but stable, a slightly chalky green bronze patination, 'as dug' and attractive.

Kreuzblatt, Nieten, kannelierte Spitze und vordere Schirmeinfassung vergoldet. Das Helmemblem seitlich mit den aufgelegten Bandeaus "1697" und "1897" zur 200-Jahrfeier des Regiments, vorne mit silbernem Anker mit Axt und Pike (nur Pioniere der 9. Kompanie!). Vergoldete, leicht gewölbte Schuppenketten mit Rosetten und beiden Kokarden in Offiziersausführung. Dunkelbraunes Lederschweißband, grünes Seidenfutter. Größe ca. 60.
