VIKING AGE THROWING AXE FROM UKRAINE. An interesting throwing weapon from the Viking age found in Kiev. The weapon has a curved blade reminiscent in shape to a Frankish throwing axe but with an added small blade on the back edge. As found condition, it needs a gentle clean, length is 10 inches and the curved cutting edge is 5 inches in length. 50-70
