dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, Round-edged axe, square handle, quillon block with grooves, completely decorated with golden floral and geometrical motifs; wooden, cylindrical haft, covered with velvet (completely worn), with octagonal, iron mounts at the ends, a strap on one side, mounts decorated en suite. length 61.5 cm.
