A Yoruba Shango wand Nigeria wood, the kneeling female with a divided coiffure, facial scarifications, with a thunder axe crest with elliptical abaja and concentric diamonds shapes, wearing bead neck and waist bands and holding a layered object, with remains of a handle, 55.5cm high. Property of a professional gentleman, acquired 2011; formerly in a private collection formed before 1950.[No Reserve] Fine condition.

A restrung necklace of red glass beads with six gilt glass beads framing coiled wire drum-shaped beads with pair of tubular pendants hanging from each; series of triangular axe-shaped pendants to the rest of the necklace. 70 grams, 56mm (2 1/4"). Property of a professional gentleman, acquired 2011; formerly in a private collection formed before 1950.[No Reserve] Fine condition.
7th-12th century AD. A mixed bronze group comprising: a C-section chanel with hatched panels; a buckle with rectangular slot to the plate; a buckle with radiating bars to the hoop; a rumbler bell pendant; a miniature lead axe pendant; a bifacial openwork plate fragment. 57 grams total, 17-76mm (3/4 - 3"). Property of an Essex gentleman; formerly in a European private collection.[6, No Reserve] Fine condition.
Mid 2nd millennium BC. A cast bronze palstave axe with ribbed spatulate blade and flanged recess to the rear of each face. See Hammond, Brett Finding the Bronze Age in Britain, The Searcher, October 2014, fig.7, p.52 for type.255 grams, 14.5cm (5 3/4"). Property of a gentleman, by descent from the vendor's father, who formed his collection in the 1990s.[No Reserve] Fine condition.
8th century AD. Second issue. Obv: with CARO / LVS in two lines with AR ligated. Rev: axe above SSD / TVT in two irregular lines with second S sideways for blundered DORSTAD inscription. Very fine; irregular flan with small striking splits. Extremely rare.

Rev: crowned arms with 1 and 'axe' left and G and 'cadeceus' right with MUNT VAN HET KONINGRIJK DER NEDERLANDEN legend and date. Edge: with incuse GOD Z IJ MET ONS inscription. KM# 122.1.9.97 grams.[No Reserve] Very fine; dark tone. Scarce.
Copper Hoard Culture, Uttar Pradesh, Northern India, mid-2nd millennium BC. A large copper flat-axe with rounded butt and slightly eccentric curved blade. 1.9 kg, 29cm (11 1/4"). Property of a West London gentleman; previously in an important weapons collection formed in the 1980s and early 1990s. See Yule, P.
