Groetchen Tool Company Columbia 1938 Miniature One Arm Bandit. The Columbia is a compact, silent machine manufactured by Groetchen. The most unique point to make about the Columbia is that it can be converted to any coinage with minor adjustment. Also, to try to overcome machine fraud, the last coins put in the machine were the first to be paid out, therefore a rogue player would get fake coins returned to them. The Columbia was made in many different designs including Gold Award, Cigarette Vendor and Twin Jackpots. Measuring approx. 15.5" width, 18.5" height, 11.5" depth. Refurbished and restored by the vendor to a high standard. Please note: All the lots within this auction are located off-site in the West Midlands. Collection will be by appointment from this location which will be made known to buyers upon purchase.
