Colt A fine and rare London retailed .45 Boxer single action army revolver no. 43707 5.50-inch barrel with impressed address Colt's Pt Mfg Co HartfordCT USA. Depot 14 Pall Mall London, (the first part feintly stamped), ejector rod with round head, the black powder frame with 3 line patent dates Pat Sept 19. 1871, " July 2-72, " Jan 19-75, and retaining almost all of its original case hardened finish, loading gate, varnished one piece walnut grip, the blued trigger guard marked 45 CAL B, London Black Powder proof, contained in its original oak case with makers label to the lid, including its original stripping tool, cleaning rod, key and oil bottle, and space for 28 rounds of ammunition. The revolver was built in 1878, appears virtually unused and retains almost all of its original finish. (The bright blue to the barrel and cylinder with minor wear and dull patches). The bore is crisp and bright. Only 729 examples in this calibre were built for the English market, of which as few as 182 are thought to carry the Pall Mall address. For further information see The Colt Peacemaker, British Model by Keith Cochran, 1989.The vendor states that the pistol has been in his family, certainly since the First World War, and possibly from new. It has not been fired for many years.

A 5in gauge G.W.R 0-6-0 pannier tank locomotive, No 1634, built to a fine engineering standard with brazed copper boiler with fittings including water gauge, shut off cock, pressure gauge, safety, blower, twin injectors, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valve. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders 1 1/2 in bore x 2 in stroke with Stephenson's link reverse, footplate controlled valve chest, draincocks, lubricator, toolbox, crosshead driven feed pump, bypass, two injectors, whistle, steam and hand operated brake gear and hand feed pump. Other detail include tool box, hand and lamp irons, rivet detail and steps. The model is finished in dark green livery with polished brightwork. 85cm long
A quality built 1 1/2in scale model of a 'Royal Chester' Allchin Traction engine, built by Mr V A Milton of Essex with single cylinder, two speed, general purpose engine. The engine has a copper boiler with fittings including water gauge, pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include cylinder approximately 1in bore x 1 1/2in stroke, drain cocks and pipes, mechanical lubricator, trunk type crosshead guide, Stephenson's link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel. Pickering type governor, chassis details include spoked straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, damper, cable drum, fairleads, water lifter, hand brake to second shaft, wooden footboard and tool box.
