One of only 799, this ultra low mileage 'Tour de France' is finished in a rather stylish colour combination. The F12 Berlinetta is the ultimate front-engined, rear-wheel drive Grand Tourer from Ferrari and made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Show featuring one of Ferrrari’s last naturally-aspirated V12 6.3-litre engines which delivered 740bhp with an impressive 690 Nm of torque offering 0-62mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph.In October 2015, Ferrari announced a limited-edition variant, the F12tdf, its nomenclature referencing a competition variant of the 250 GT, so named following the latter's many victories in the Tour de France Automobile in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Like its illustrious predecessor, the F12tdf was a lightweight, track-focused model aimed at wealthy connoisseurs and gentleman racers and only 799 were built during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The F12tdf utilised the same 6.3-litre V12 engine as the standard car, albeit modified by the addition of mechanical tappets and variable-geometry intake trumpets, to produce in excess of 770bhp. 110kg of weight was saved by the use of carbon fibre and fastidious use of lightweight materials for every element of the car. Every aspect of the car was assessed, from the narrow-section five-spoke wheels to the single-piece carbon door cards and even the passenger glovebox was considered unnecessary weight and therefore removed. The body, too, was reconsidered and featured state-of-the-art active aerodynamics that helped generate an 80% increase in downforce at 120mph, as well as unique design elements that paid tribute to the great Ferraris of the past, the most obvious being the 250 GTO–inspired slots over the rear haunches. The chassis, already considered to be excellent by road-car standards, was improved with the introduction of a rear-wheel steering system known as ‘Virtual Short Wheelbase’ to complement the dramatically widened front track and existing electronic control systems (ESC, ABS/EBD, F1-Trac and SSC 3). The result was a reduction of the 0-100 kph time to 2.9 seconds, top speed was now in excess of 340 kph and around Fiorano, the F12tdf was 2.0 seconds quicker than its standard sibling.According to the accompanying paperwork, this Ferrari F12 Tdf (Type F152 ACL), Chassis No. ZFF81BHT 6H0224560 was built during January 2017 in left-hand drive as a Gulf version i.e. subject to the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Homologation requirements and destined for Kuwait. In common with many very special Ferraris, the order was routed through Ferrari’s Atelier Studio which offeried a remarkable level of personalisation and there is a list (in English) of the selected options on a plaque within the car. The special order (extracampionario) exterior colour selected was Argento Auteil with the interior mainly in Cuoio (natural leather) with Nero detailing. There is a full list from Ferrari of all the bespoke details and they include carbon fibre (CF) air filter covers, CF engine bay covers, Ferrari telemetry and track cameras, 20-inch diamond-forged wheels, aluminium brake calipers, Daytona racing seats, a number of alcantara and leather interior bespoke options, adaptive front lights, front suspension lifter, navigation maps, front and rear cameras, hi-power premium hi-fi system and integrated audio system and much more. The car is also accompanied by its ‘Attestato per vetture Serie speciali’ (Attestation for Special series vehicles) dated 8th February 2017 in a stylish sleeved yellow presentation folder showing its journey through the factory when being built and confirming its technical spec. The Ferrari was imported to the UK and first registered here on 1st April 2018, according to its UK V5C, and further documentation including Kuwaiti Registration papers, Kuwaiti Vehicle Quittance and export certificates, HMRC vehicle import post clearance checks, an invoice from Cars UK detailing UK Import Tax of £93,647 and DVLA confirmation of the car’s new UK registration number (LJ66 KFZ).The F12 has been enjoying life in London and, at the time of cataloguing, was displaying an odometer reading of around 1,275km (795 miles). There are a couple of invoices from Rosso Corsa in Milan at 890 km and 1,086 km respectively and one from Dick Lovett in Swindon for £2,779 dated 15th July 2021 at 1,200km covering a routine service, four new Pirellis, an air-con service and a fresh MOT (valid until 8th July 2022). Representing a wonderful opportunity to own one of Ferrari's all-time great, front-engined supercars, this stunning ‘Atelier bespoke’ F12tdf comes complete with its tool kit, locking wheel nut key, service wallet and manuals, and the all-important F12tdf ‘Attestato'. As might be expected of such a low-mileage, one-owner car, this unique F12tdf presents superbly and is, without doubt, the ultimate front-engined Ferrari supercar and a true modern-day collectible that will continue to be held in high esteem by collectors and enthusiasts for years to come..SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: F12Year: 2017Chassis Number: ZFF81BHT6H0224560Registration Number: LJ66 KFZEngine Number: 34880Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 1275 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: Cuoio AlcantaraClick here for more details and images

A striking example of Ferrari's era-defining Testarossa, UK-supplied in right-hand drive and only 10,500 miles from new. When Ferrari introduced the Testarossa at the Lido on the Champs-Elysees on the eve of the 1984 Paris Salon de l’Auto, it caused a sensation. The crisp, square-cut almost deliberately functional lines and superior mechanical specification instantly rendered the 512BBi yesterday’s car and it soon came to be rightly regarded as possibly the best car Ferrari had ever built.Today, the Testarossa has become a design icon, symbolic of eighties culture, and despite a period a few years ago when interest plateaued, its popularity has returned and the market is strengthening rapidly. It’s not a surprise really since the Testarossa offers a rare package of serious performance, practicality, reasonable comfort and confidence-inspiring handling at high speed that becomes almost addictive. One of just 438 UK-supplied, right-hand drive examples, this immaculate Testarossa is classically finished in Rosso Corsa with Crema hide and Rosso carpets and was delivered new by H.R.Owen on the 7th January 1991 to its first lucky owner. On offer today from a private collection, it has been lightly used in recent years but, as can be seen from our images, remains in simply fabulous condition. It’s been enhanced with an upgraded Pioneer CD unit and a glorious sounding Koenig sports exhaust system and has covered the grand total of 10,475 miles. Naturally, at this low mileage, the car’s history file is not huge but it appears to be comprehensive. The file contains previous MOT Certificates between 1993 and 2003 and the original service book is present with five stamps. H.R. Owen carried out the first service and a combination of Rardley, Maranello Sales and Keys Motorsport have looked after the car since then, with the last stamp by Keys Motorsport in 2013 on 10,351 miles including cambelt and tensioners. When the car was serviced by Keys, a glowing condition report was written for the car, testifying to its lovely condition and this is included within the history file. The car is accompanied by the jack, tool roll and its original leather book pack with manuals and instruction books. This is an exceptional example of a much sought after model in lovely original condition which simply needs to be prepared for use and enjoyed.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: TESTAROSSAYear: 1991Chassis Number: ZFFAA17C000086415Registration Number: H865 MPBTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 23494Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 10475 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Cream Leather

Attractive, beautifully presented, low mileage, 360 Spider in a rather smooth colour combination.Produced between 1999 and 2005, the Ferrari 360 was the successor to the well-loved Ferrari F355, and to this day enjoys a loyal fanbase among Ferrari and supercar enthusiasts. With its Pininfarina-penned flowing lines, the 360 marked a significant design shift away from the angular nature of the F355, along with enjoying a lower unsprung weight, more powerful engine and an all-aluminium space-frame chassis which was reported to be 40% stiffer than its predecessors. The Modena was the first model to arrive in 1999, but the Spider was hot on its heels, being unveiled at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. Due to the mechanics of the retracting roof, significant engineering changes were required for the Spider version, including enlarging the side air intakes and moving the inlet manifolds towards the centre of the engine. Offered here is a lovely low mileage Ferrari 360 Spider supplied new to the UK and specified with F1 paddle-shift transmission, Argento metallic silver paintwork and a Blu Scuro leather interior with matching carpets and hood. The clean HPI certificate shows two previous keepers prior to 2016 when our vendor purchased the Ferrari from his business partner. Only enjoyed on sunny days and dry stored correctly in a heated garage or professional storage facility today this example indicates just under 7,500 miles, presents beautifully and is offered complete with its history file, tool kit and tyre inflator. It's been diligently maintained by the local Ferrari main agent and invoices within the file show routine maintenance and a cam and auxiliary belt change at 6,391 miles. Rarely do examples of the Ferrari 360 come to market in such well-preserved condition and a tasteful colour combination that makes a refreshing change from red with cream. The 360 is a great looking modern classic that is fast becoming sought after and if you are to use your sports car only on sunny days, then let it be a drop-top Ferrari. This is a car in which you would be proud to arrive at any function, having enjoyed that glorious Ferrari V8 soundtrack on the way there, and, if the function were to prove a little boring, the drive home could be the high-spot of your day.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 360 SPIDER F1Year: 2001Chassis Number: ZFFYT53C000123913Registration Number: Y991 CLATransmission: F1Engine Number: 62633 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 7447 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Navy BluClick here for more details and images

Lot 712

Very rare, Factory 'Chairs and Flairs' GTS in gleaming Nero. There is no doubt that this stunning 1973 Ferrari Dino 246GTS is simply ‘World Quality’. We have seen many lovely examples of these beautiful cars over the years but this one is exceptional. It was delivered new to Modern Classic Motora, Nevada in January 1974, finished in Nero with a Pelle Rosa interior, and onwards to its first owner who lived in greater Los Angeles. In addition to electric windows and air-conditioning, it was ordered from new with two options that have become known as ‘Chairs and Flares’ and being rare, add considerably to the car’s appeal. To be accurate the seating option was listed as "Nero 161 inserts" and refers to Daytona-style black inserts in whatever colour of leather was specified for the rest of the interior. ‘The Flares’ option was technically listed as “Wide wheel/Housings" and refers to the flared wheel arches and sand-cast Campagnolo wheels fitted by the factory before despatch. The Dino’s first owner was to keep it for the next thirty years, mainly in the LA area, and in 2004 the time had come to move it on. It had only covered 36,871 miles at this point but was 30 years old, so the car’s second owner committed to a full restoration. It was fully stripped to bare metal and refinished in Giallo Fly (yellow), the interior was totally refurbished in tan with new ‘mouse-fur’ on the dash-top and new carpets. The brake calipers were rebuilt with new hoses and pads, new shocks and shock bushings were fitted with suspension bushings, new lid supports, door and window seals and the chrome was re-plated. All this work was photo-documented, however, it’s a little academic as our vendor, the Dino’s third owner, went quite a lot further a few years later.Having purchased this little yellow Ferrari in Los Angeles during 2010, our vendor added it to his eclectic collection where it was used lightly. An international business man with influence in every continent, he decided that it would be advantageous if his Dino could be awarded Classiche Certification and being a man with a reputation for standards and detail, tasked Cremonini Carrozzeria SRL (Cremonini Classic) of Modena with creating, what he hoped would be, the best 246GTS in the world. Whether they succeeded or not is for you to judge but, now returned to it’s original Nero with red leather ‘Daytona’ seats and red carpets, it was granted full Classiche Certification in April 2018 confirming matching numbers. The Cremonini restoration amounted to some £350,000 and within the history file are many invoices detailing the process. The substantial file also contains the car’s US Title, UK V5C (previously registered as DBY 970M), current Italian registration, ZA 660 TA, Dino handbooks, the warranty card in its leather wallet and naturally, the hard-won Classiche in the famous ‘Red Book’. Pleasingly the car retains what appears to be its original tool-roll.We welcome and encourage any inspection of this spectacularly presented, 'Chairs and Flares', Classiche certified 246 GTS.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: DINO 246 GTSYear: 1974Chassis Number: 06452Registration Number: ZA66 OTADrive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 1935 MilesMake: LHDInterior Colour: Red LeatherClick here for more details and images

Peter Kennard (British, b.1949) / Cat Phillpps (British, b.1972) Photo Op, 2005 Lithographic print on 60gsm paperUn-numbered, signed by both artists in pencil 49 x 49 cm (19 x 19 in) Kennardphillipps is a collaboration between Peter Kennard and Cat Phillipps working since 2002 to produce art in response to the invasion of Iraq. It has evolved to confront power and war across the globe. The work is made for the street, the gallery, the web, newspapers & magazines, and to lead workshops that develop peoples’ skills and help them express their thoughts on what’s happening in the world through visual means. The work is made as a critical tool that connects to international movements for social and political change. We don’t see the work as separate to social and political movements that are confronting established political and economic systems. We see it as part of those movements, the visual arm of protest. We want it to be used by people as a part of their own activism, not just as pictures on the wall to contemplate. This lot is also sold subject to Artists Resale Rights, details of which can be found in our Terms and Conditions.

Lot 429

One of 83 examples of AC's pretty, Bristol-engined 2+2 Greyhound, sympathetically restored by our vendor and now ready for the next sixty years. When the last 2-litre saloon left the Thames Ditton factory in 1958, AC were left without a car that offered more than two seats. In response to what was perceived as customer demand, as well as encouragement from Hubert Patthey, the racing driver and Swiss AC importer, work began under the direction of AC’s Chief Engineer, Alan Turner, on a 4-seat GT Coupé, the Greyhound. The first prototype was given an airing, as well as its competition debut, at an AC and Lagonda Owners Club Sprint at Brand Hatch, which was quickly followed by the first production car making its appearance at the London Motor Show in October 1959. Sitting on an extended version of the Aceca’s steel ladder frame chassis, allowing space for an additional row of two seats behind the driver and front passenger as well as a decent sized boot, the Greyhound was clothed in an attractive alloy body not dissimilar to Aston Martin’s recently introduced DB4. The interior of the car was well appointed, with leather seats front and back, full carpeting throughout, ample instrumentation, and good headroom for all occupants. Most cars in the late 1950s still relied on live rear axles, leaf springs, and four-wheel drum brakes, however, the Greyhound offered a more modern approach with fully independent front and rear suspension on coil springs, rack and pinion steering and disc brakes on the front. In common with the Ace and Aceca, Greyhound customers were offered a choice of four engines and the all straight-six line-up included AC’s own 1,991cc 75bhp unit; the BMW-derived Bristol OHV engine in 125bhp 1,971cc and 2,216cc 105bhp form; and the 2,553cc Ford Zephyr engine which was capable of producing up to 170bhp when tuned by Ruddspeed. Whilst the Zephyr engine was the most powerful, purists rightful preference was always the smooth and 'revvy' Bristol powerplants as the noise, balance and feel was perfect for the Greyhound’s GT aspirations when combined with a four-speed manual gearbox and the optional overdrive. This remarkable, matching-numbers, 2.0-litre straight-six, Bristol-engined Greyhound has a lovely back story having been discovered and uncovered in our vendor’s late father-in-law’s garage under 45 year’s worth of clutter and dust. Purchased new in 1960, the car was used as a daily driver including visits to UK circuits where its owner used to race Aston Martins at club level. With the arrival of his new car in 1978, the AC was moved to the garage where it was to remain under an increasing quantity of boxes etc. until dug out by our vendor prior to commencing a sympathetic restoration. He planned to carry out most of the restoration himself using as many original parts as possible and given that the car was less than 18 years old and had covered just over 43,000 miles when it was put into storage, much of it was in sound condition. Invoices within the history file include one for c.£21,000 with historic racing engine specialist Ian Nuttall (IN Racing) for a full engine rebuild including modifying the engine to run on unleaded fuel.150 SPF was originally finished in AC ‘Rosso Chiarro’, however, small volume manufacturers used paint from wherever source they could find at the time and the exact code was not available so the car has been finished as close as possible to the original shade and now benefits from several coats of Red which retains a deep shine and looks fabulous. There are photos with the car covering various aspects of the restoration. The original bumpers have been re-chromed and are ready to be fitted but are currently off as to our vendor prefers the smoother bumperless styling. Pleasingly, much of the interior appears to have been refitted and the seating, headlining, dashboard, steering wheel and gear lever display a light patination from use by 150 SPF’s long-term owner, however, the red carpets are new. It’s the perfect combination for a sporting classic, a gleaming exterior and smart engine bay with a few little areas that show that the AC has lived a life.Happily, the car has a full history including old tax discs, old invoices (which help support the indicated mileage of 43,625), its original tool kit in the spare wheel well, original owners handbooks and manuals from when it was bought new until it was parked up in 1978. The restoration was completed in early 2022 and we understand from our vendor that “the engine is running well and the car is a delight to drive". This has got to be one of, if not the finest example of a Greyhound to come to market recently and with prices of the Ace and Aceca having soared in recent years, we can’t help feeling that the Greyhound is somewhat undervalued by comparison. With the striking looks of a DB4, 75% of the performance, 10 times rarer, yet only 20% of the cost, it looks remarkable value at today’s guide price. SpecificationMake: ACModel: GREYHOUNDYear: 1960Chassis Number: BEF2506Registration Number: 150 SPFTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 100D21088Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 43615 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Cream LeatherClick here for more details and images
