1967 Honda P50. 49cc. Registration number WAR 176E (non transferrable). Frame number P50 - A127661. Engine number 127557. Sold with the V5C, RF60, 1969 tax disc, 1970 MOT, the dating certificate,, an owners manual and the original tool kit Almost the Holy Grail for collectors of Honda mopeds! In production for just over two year’s 1966 to 1968, the ‘Little Honda’ was unique at that time having an overhead valve four stroke motor, when all other manufacturers were using two strokes. The design of the engine, being part of the wheel however, was copied directly from the ‘Winged Wheel’ produced by BSA some 20 years earlier and was the last ‘Motor in wheel’ design to be marketed anywhere in the World. The 49cc engine gave out 1.2hp @ 4200rpm, and the machine weighed 45kg. This rare, unrestored, machine was bought by Betty Smith on the 16th May 1967 and she did not get on with it so it was left in the garage and hardly used, there is an MOT on file from 1970 and a 1969 tax disc. In 2006 her son obtained a dating certificate from the owners club and our vendor bought it from him in 2008. It has been id dry storage ever since, although it was recently started on a slave petrol tank. Rarely do unrestored examples of this machine appear on the market. Sold with the V5C, RF60, 1969 tax disc, 1970 MOT, the dating certificate,, an owners manual and the original tool kit

In March 1996 the M60 engines were replaced by the new M62 engine the 735i at 235hp and the 740i at 286hp. These cars brimmed with technology, including ASC+T traction control, Dynamic Stability Control, auto-leveling low beam xenon HID headlamps, side tubular airbags,Electronic Damper Control, Park Distance Control (PDC), auto-dimming & power folding mirrors, power moonroof, power rear sunblind, rain-sensing wipers, dual zone or tri-zone climate control, electric drivers seat adjustment and electric steering wheel adjustment. The DVLA MOT history goes back to 2005 at 36,200 miles, rising slowly over the years confirming the low mileage. Lot 154

A remarkable Garage Find, one owner from new, 11,836 miles and fresh from 33 years storage. In order to prepare the Mini for the 1970s, it was restyled with a boxier front end featuring a full width grille, larger headlights and a revised front bumper. The new model was offered in two trim levels: the Mini Clubman and the Mini 1275 GTThe new GT featured a 1,275cc four-cylinder A-Series, a four-synchro, close-ratio, 4-speed manual gearbox, a tachometer, and 10" Rostyle alloy wheels fitted over 7.5" Cooper 'S' disc brakesFinished in Bronze Yellow over black vinyl, this example dates from 1970. With an indicated mileage of 11,836 and stickers confirming the next service at 13,438 miles and the tax disc expiring at the end of June 1990, we assume the car was taken of the road in late 1989/early 1990The bodywork and interior do seem to remain in remarkable condition. It almost feels as though a soapy wash and a good valet would have it back in shapeThe engine bay however is not so good and the car will undoubtedly need a full mechanical recommissionAs with any classic car needing work to get back on the road, we would encourage any prospective bidders to come along to the NEC and inspect the car so they can see for themselves what may, or may not need doing. Consequently it's presented to auction as it was foundOne owner from new, 11,836 miles and fresh from 33 years storage along with its original Passport to Service and original tool kit. A selection of moonstone jewellery comprised of a cylindrical bead necklace with a matching pair of drop earrings, two bracelets with a matching pair of drop earrings, a pair of drop earrings and a pendant both set with marcasite, two matching pendants and a pair of 'bunch of grapes' drop earrings. We are pleased to be offering this lot from the stock of family run firm Shipton and Co., who were based in Hastings White Rock area, and who were unfortunately forced to close their doors in 2014 after a section of the rock face above collapsed onto their shop, making the building unsafe. Celebrated as a feminine stone and believed to promote spiritual healing, mental clarity and feminine energy, moonstone has long been a favourite within the jewellery trade and crystal healers.  It's translucent, pearly, opalescent look comes in colours of white and grey, but also orange, green, blue, pink, brown and rainbow.  The Moonstone has a long history in India being used by seers to look in to the future and as a tool used to bring wisdom.  The Romans believed that those who looked into the stone could see the Diana, goddess of the moon, and that this pearly talisman would bring love and fortune to the wearer.  During the late 19th and early 20th century when the Art Nouveau period was at it's height moonstone was a preferred stone by jewellers, and remains highly popular to this day.CONDITION REPORTS & PAYMENT DETAILSIMPORTANT* Descriptions do not include condition reports.  Please contact us to if you require further information or images.*  Please consider shipping costs before bidding as this may affect your decision to bid*  Please familiarise yourself with our payment methods.  Our preferred method of payment is by bank transfer.  We do not take cash or card payments.
