Rare UK-supplied 1-litre Katana with very low mileage and in great condition.Named after a Samurai sword, the Katana was meant to be a purposeful toolInitially 1,100cc, the engine was sleeved down so that it could qualify for AMA Superbike racing (which had a 1,000cc upper limit), though they figured that consumers were going to expect 1,100cc performance. An East Tibetan Flint or Tinder Pouch (Chuckmuck or Mechag). These purses are used by the nomadic Khampa people in a remote part of Tibet to carry flint or “Mechak”, referring to a traditional Tibetan iron edged tool, used for creating sparks. Made of Ox hide and decorated with brass, iron, silver and turquoise. Approximately 8cm x 14cm.
