A gilt and floral decorated part tea service with cups, saucers, bowls, a Wedgewood part tea set, also a set of six Cauldon dinner plates retailed by Osler Designers London, 26.5cm, (A Lot). The Alastair & Sheila Brooks Collection: of Oaklands (& past owners of Ednam House Hotel), Kelso Please note due to the size of the lot I could only briefly look at all the items. The teapot has lost it spout, though it is still present and appears to be a fairly clean break. One of the Wedgewood saucers is cracked. One of the Cauldron plates may have been repaired to the rim. Otherwise the lot appears to be in good condition with only general wear and tear commensurate with age and use.

Tasse ist in Scherben anbei) mit Haltern, 6 Untertassen, 6 Desserttellern, 1 Gebäckplatte und 1 goldfarbene Zuckerzange, teilweise mit französischer Herstellermarke, dazu 1 goldfarbene Zigarettendose mit Holzeinlage, im Deckel eine Gravur: 'AVEC LES COMPLIMENTS DE LA K. L. M. LIGNES AERIENNES ROYALES NEERLANDAISES', auf dem Deckel das Logo der KLM mit stilisierter Krone. Teilweise stark berieben und zerkratzt. | FRANCE, gold-plated coffee and tea service for 5-6 people, around 1950. This family-owned service was a personal gift from the Dutch Queen Juliane (1909-2004) to Hadsch Ali Razmara (1901-1951), who was Prime Minister of Iran from June 1950 to March 1951. It consists of 1 coffee pot, 1 teapot (dented on the base), 1 milk jug, 1 sugar bowl, 1 round tray with mirror glass (remaining gilding), 5 LIMOGES porcelain cups (the 6th cup is enclosed in shards) with holders, 6 saucers, 6 dessert plates, 1 pastry plate and 1 gold-coloured sugar tongs, some with French manufacturer's mark, plus 1 gold-coloured cigarette tin with wooden inlay, an engraving in the lid: 'AVEC LES COMPLIMENTS DE LA K. L. M. LIGNES AERIENNES ROYALES NEERLANDAISES', on the lid the KLM logo with a stylised crown. Partly heavily rubbed and scratched.

(57 pieces inc. covers)* In very good condition, with a little very light glaze scratching from occasional use. The gilt remains in very good condition as the service has always been hand washed after use.

A pair of large Paris porcelain cups and saucers by Paul Blot - second half 19th century, one painted with a tortoise and hares, the other with boxing hares and oysters, pink painted factory marks, gilt handles and lining to the rims, the saucers 17.8cm diameter. (4)* All four pieces are in good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is very minor gilt wear and the boxing hares cup has a flaw to the gilt to the handle. Both cups and both saucers are marked.

Seven pieces of Chinese export blue and white porcelain - late 18th and 19th century, comprising three tea bowls, one enriched with gilt, the largest 9cm diameter; three similar saucers, painted with lake landscapes, 12cm diameter; and another slightly larger saucer of chrysanthemum form, painted with a jardiniere of flowers and butterflies, 13.6cm diameter.* The large saucer with one tiny frit to the rim. One of the three similar saucers with a hairline to rim, and one other with several hairlines around the rim. The other in good condition. The larger tea bowl with some gilt wear. The mid-size tea bowl with a tiny frit to rim. The smallest tea bowl with a firing crack beneath the glaze to the lower bowl.

Three other bowls have hairlines approx. 4 cm long - one of which also has a small chip.One dish has a chip to the rim and three have hairlines: 1.5 cm, 2 cm and 2.5 cm long.Two small saucers have 2 cm hairlines, one has a chip to the rim.Minor rim frits to note. No repairs or restoration.

A PAIR OF CHINESE KANGXI (1662-1722) CAFE-AU-LAIT GROUND SHIPWRECK TEABOWLS AND SAUCERS. Each painted with an exotic longtailed bird perched on rockwork amongst flower shrubs, within shaped rims decorated with lappet-shaped panels painted with figures on boats and flowers (2) Each with extensive wear to glaze, with an overall matt appearance, particularly noticeable to brown ground. Teabowl with a short firing crack to rim, the other with small rim chip.
