Warren MacKenzie (American, 1924-2018). Set of six studio pottery ceramic teacups and saucers. Stoneware cups with handles and a white glaze. Stoneware saucers with a spiraled decoration from the wheel throwing process. Glazed dark brown. Each cup and saucer are marked along the footrim.Warren MacKenzie was a renowned Minnesota studio potter. The coffee service has a black background with polychrome Greek Key decoration. Makers mark to the underside. Measures approx.: 33cm tall teapot
A French porcelain part tea service, 19th century, comprising eight tea bowls and nine saucers, each piece with hand painted red floral sprays within a scalloped gilt border, painted Sevres style marks to base, the bowls 4.7cm high, the saucers 13.5cm diameter (17) Provenance; Llangedwyn Hall CONDITION REPORT:All pieces show fine surface scratching and rubbing to the gilt highlights (extensive in places). One of the saucers shows a chip to the rim approximately 5mm wide. The tea bowls show no visible chips, cracks or losses, however all the pieces are dirty (in some cases extremely so) and it is possible that this dirt is masking other issues.

All pieces appear to be first quality, apart from the sauce boat (scratched through mark). One dinner plate shows a small fault to the floral motif, but does not appear to be marked as a second.

The jug shows breaks to the handle. Several of the saucers show chips to the rims. Many pieces show a degree of brown staining (possibly removable with cleaning).
