A collection of mixed ceramics to include; An early Crown derby purple mark sugar bowl and cover (cracked and chipped), numbered 500, six Imari patterned cups and saucers with matching side plates, all bearing crossed 'X' mark and capital H to reverse, a pair of small modern Royal Worcester bone china simple white fish in shell centrepieces. Along with a Doulton Chantilly dish, an Old Trentham Sprays dish, a Spode coffee cup, Crown Ducal bowl, a Royal Winton jug, a Czechoslovakian tea bowl (cracked), a small gilt Chinese style bowl marked Empire, a Limoges style three stemmed vase and Limoges style patch/trinket box/pot, and two small base metal cased pieces - one an Icon style with mother and baby ceramic tile to centre and transfer printed Tahj Mahal to centre of other.

Spode, Copeland, England. China service set in the pattern "Trade Winds Red" depicting ships in red and rimmed with gold. The set includes four serving dishes, one bowl, one tea kettle, one small dish, two saucers, one gravy boat, eight teacups, one large dish, eight fruit dishes, eight salad dishes, eight lunch dishes, eight dinner dishes. Each marked along the underside; each ship depicted is noted along with the date it was built.Provenance: From the Estate of C. Curtis "Curt" Dunnavan, Long Lake, Minnesota.C. Curtis "Curt" Dunnavan (1926-2022) was a passionate world traveler and avid collector. It was through his travels that he was inspired to begin a lifelong relationship with the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia), becoming a major sponsor of the institute and facilitating the growth of their Asian art department, which is now one of the best in the country. His generous donations to Mia allowed them to establish a fund for the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer, one of the few endowed positions of this type in the museum field. He additionally served as a trustee of the institute, advocating for its operational growth. In its turn, the museum established a gallery named in his honor in recognition for his endowment fund and numerous contributions to their collection. The selections here showcase his talent and breadth of collecting, ranging from ancient statues to 19th-century woodblock prints. His appreciation for art persisted throughout his life and we are honored to offer items from his collection in this auction.Height ranges from 1/4 in to 8 1/2 in; diameter ranges from 3 in to 10 1/4 in; width ranges from 3 in to 14 1/2 in.Condition: There is light wear throughout the set, mostly located along the footrims, consistent with light use. To the creamer there is a large crack and repair near the handle; see lot listing photo. There are two spots of discoloration to the spout of the teapot. There is heavy crazing to the glaze of the smallest platter.

Carlton ware Art Deco 15 piece tea service on a a mottled grey and blue design ground with geometric handles comprising: four cups, four saucers, four side plates, bullet shaped teapot, two handled lidded sucrier and cream jug. Blue printed marks to the underside. (15) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Minor blemishes and some crazing in places, otherwise no obvious damage.
Collection of four similar Chinese blue and white The Nanking Cargo tea bowls and saucers, all saucers with Christie's label to the underside. (4) (B.P. 21% + VAT) All grubby, most have small chips to rims and or bases. One tea bowl has larger rim chip and small hair crack running from chip into the body.
Pair of Chinese blue and white octagonal tea bowls and saucers, decorated to the front and reverse with panels of flowers and foliage. 'Lingzhi Fungus' mark in underglaze blue on each of the bases. Kangxi period (1662-1722), the saucers 13cm in diameter. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Appearing in very good condition overall with no obvious damage, cracks, chips or restoration.
