An 18th century Caughley tea bowl, decorated in blue and white depicting fruit sprigs, 7.5cm diameter, a Helena Wholfson part tea service including a teacup and coffee cup, two saucers and a larger saucer with a 19th century gilt decorated teacup and saucer, pattern No.5/684 and two late 18th century pearlware tea bowls and one saucer (11) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Caughley- No obvious cracks or restoration. Some general surface scratches but overall good. Wholfson - One cup broken in two large sections and re-glued. One 18th century pearlware tea bowl extensively crazed and showing some staining.
A Shelley china 'Balloon Tree' fifteen piece coffee service, pattern 11624, comprising coffee pot and cover (cracked), six cups and saucers, jug and sugar bowl (15) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Three teacups with rim descending stained hairline cracks. Milk jug rim crazed. Teapot base extensively cracked and re-glued with ascending hairline cracks.

Fascinating collection of Rockingham Pottery paperwork and a collection of related Rockingham brown glaze ware circa 1842 , the paperwork to include a Receipt dated November 25th 1856 for the sale of the 'Rockingham Brown Glaze' an agreement between Mr Speight (gilder at the factory) and Alfred Baguley as well as the recipie for the glaze, also a letter to Mr Bower from M.A. Robson dated Oct.30th 1902 enquiring if Mr Bower still had the 'Rockingham Books' with information to pottery recipes and if not if he knew of its whereabouts, the pottery to include a moustache cup and saucer monogrammed 'EJB', (possibley for Mr Bowers) basket weave cup and saucer, two coffee cups and saucers, three bowls, lidded butter dish, and one other tea cup and coffee cup, various printed marks to bases, (15) Mr Bower is the current vendors Grandfather (who died in the early 1920's) Mr Bower was a builder (and undertaker) working in Swinton.
