A modern Meissen 'Waves Relief' part breakfast service decorated with the 'Woodland Flora with Insects' pattern, comprising: a coffee pot and cover; a sugar box and cover; a milk jug; four coffee cups and saucers and a large shaped oval serving dish, blue crossed swords marks.Note: 'Waves Relief' was designed by Jörg Danielczyk, pupil of the great Meissen modeller Peter Strang. He was created Artistic Director of Design/White Production in 1994. Meissen claim that he was inspired by the water surface during a fishing trip. Sometimes sold in the white but also sold with a variety of patterns which were designed by the Meissen artist Sabine Wachs from 1993-96.
