English porcelain part tea service, circa 1835, painted with sprigs of flowers and leafy tendrils within shaped gilt rims, comprising a teapot and cover, two rocaille moulded cake plates, a two-handled sugar bowl and cover, a slop bowl, four coffee cups, 12 teacups and 12 saucers  Condition Report The teapot appears to have no obvious faults , other than the result of age and being in a cupboard for years.  One teacup is cracked, please see image.surface wear to cake plates and teaplates, overall condition fair. Just needs a good wash.

Small edge chips to the handles on the tray and a small chip to the edge of the jug. We have viewed this lot under a black light and this is the only damage visable. The edges of the gilding is worn in places.

Two saucers with crazing. One teacup and one coffee cup with crazing. Some light losses of blue ground to a couple of pieces. Some surface scratches to the porcelain and a couple of firing spots. A Ridgway dessert service, early 19th century, numbered 1177 to underside, of mazarine blue ground with yellow panels decorated with roses, gilt highlights, the centres painted with floral bouquets, comprising: two twin handled footed sauce tureens with associated saucers and grape bunch finials, approx. 17cm high, three lozenge twin handled dishes, each approx. 29.5cm wide, three oblong single handled dishes, each approx. 24cm wide, and twelve twin handled plates, each approx. 23cm diameter; together with two Derby potpourri stands with covers, iron red crowned crossed batons and D mark, each of mazarine blue ground with gilt highlights, approx. 15cm high (22)Condition Report: One sauce tureen has been dropped and subsequently repaired - one of the handles has been re-glued in sections, and there are various dirt-filled hairline cracks to the well and rim, as well as to the cover, as well as crazing to the rim and foot. Some small chips to the finial of the other sauce tureen cover. Each of the other plates and dishes have various minor chips to the footrims and scratches to the gilding, porcelain, and decoration. Each of the Derby potpourri stands have heavy, dirt-filled crazing. Each potpourri cover has been dropped and repaired with cracks and yellowing restoration visible.

Slightly damaged in places, signs of age and use. Porcelain in beautiful condition, having been protected over the decades. Very imposing mocha set.Provenance: According to the consignor, the set was a diplomatic gift that was presented by Kaiser Wilhelm II to Leopold II of Belgium during his visit to Berlin in 1904.
