A Crown Staffordshire "Pagoda" pattern dinner service, comprising two ashettes, six dinner plates, six soup bowls, six medium plates, six dessert bowls, two sauce boats each with stand, twelve side plates, sandwich plate, two shallow bowls, four egg cups, comport, bell, menu stand, six saucers, six cups, preserve dish with cover, jug, coffee pot, sugar basin, cream jug, butter dish base and two spare tureen lids.
A Royal Worcester coffee set, cased, each piece decorated with a stork, puce mark to base and with six spoons (5 + 1). CONDITION REPORT: Three saucers are in good condition with only very minor rubbing to the gilding. One saucer is in generally good condition but has a small scuff to the underside foot rim. Two saucers have hairline cracks both of which are discoloured and clearly visible. All saucers are a little discoloured and likely crazed when viewed with a magnifying glass. Four cups are in good condition with no damage, no repairs & no restoration. One has a substantial hairline crack running from the top lip right the way down to the foot rim. One cup has had professional restoration around the top of the handle. Over spray is clearly visible either side of this. Five spoons are silver and probably original, one is a later replacement.
A 19th century Russian teapot, two cups and two saucers, one cup bearing label "Popov 1860". CONDITION REPORT: The teapot has a hairline crack to the handle and the gilding is rubbed in places. There are also two small under edge chips to the foot rim there are no other issues. One saucer has a 1 cm hairline crack to the rim. The other has a small rim chip and a 1 cm hairline crack to the rim. Both cups are in good order with no damage. All pieces have some rubbing to the gilding.
A collection of Russian ceramics, comprising teapot, lidded sucrier, four cups and four saucers, with puce mark to base, a similar coffee pot and lidded sucrier, the sucrier bearing ink label "Gardener", and a polychrome cylindrical pot also marked "Gardener". CONDITION REPORT: All pieces have minor rubbing to the gilding, other than this all of the matching pieces in this lot are in good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The "Gardener" basin has a small chip to the rim and a star crack to the base. We do not know whether these are first quality or not.
A Royal Crown Derby Imari patterned tea service, twelve cups, twelve saucers, eleven side plates and matching oval bowl and a single cup and saucer. CONDITION REPORT: These are all second quality. The service looks to be almost unused, many of the plates being in plastic wrappers. One plates is broke in half but all other pieces are in very good order. The oval bowl is first quality and from the top side appears to be in very good condition. The underside shows a 2 cm square discoloured area and minor scuffs to the foot rims. The non-matching cup and saucer are in good order but also second quality.
Fifteen pieces of principally Chinese porcelain, 12 tea bowls, shallow bowl and vase. Vase height 20 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The vase has a 1 inch hairline crack running from the top lip down the side of the vase. This is visible on both the inside and outside. The large bowl has two hairline cracks both running from the top lip down into the body of the bowl for approximately 8 cm. These are old cracks. Other than this the bowl is in good order. The five matching blue & white tea bowls all have discolouration and hairline cracks. All have rubbing to the gilding and one has two small rim chips. The three similar low saucers are all discoloured but undamaged. The large blue & white saucer has several hairline cracks and various chips. The polychrome bowl has a hairline crack and star crack. The gilding is also rubbed and the piece a little discoloured. The two polychrome tea bowls are both discoloured and both have rim chips. The remaining blue and white tea bowl has two rim chips and two hairline cracks.
A Qty of French " Luneville " floral pattern tea and dinner wares, cups, soup bowls, dinner , side plates, etc. CONDITION REPORT: Number of items: 15 large cups 8 small cups milk jug, 13, 10" soup bowls, 9 dishes, 15 10" plates 19 8½" plates, 11 7½" side plates, 14 saucers, 8 6" small side plates. All generally worn, some with chips, possibly been cleaned in a dishwasher.
