Collection of Wedgwood Bone China & Glass, comprising Wedgwood 'Kutani Crane' bone china set of five dinner plates, 4 side plates, two bowls, lidded sugar bowl, milk jug, five saucers, and six cake plates; together with Paragon 'Belinda' three cups and saucers, milk jug and sugar bowl; and Wedgwood 'Cottage Rose' large cake plate, five side plates, milk jug and sugar bowl. Together with a collection of crystal glasses, comprising six 7" tall matching wine glasses, and four 7" matching wine glasses, in good condition.
A quantity of 'Wisteria' pattern tableware, produced by Stonier & Co. Ltd of Liverpool (Registered Number 117214 / 324028) as used by The White Star Line on its transatlantic ships, comprising salad plates, side plates, bread plates, open bowls, a milk jug and assorted cups and saucers. This collection is believed to have been used on RMS Olympic (sister ship of Titanic), in the first quarter of the 20th century (purchased by the vendor's family in 1924 from the International Mercantile Marine Company, along with a related collection of silver plated items, also in this sale), see photos for a copy of the receipt.Condition report: One side plate with a crack across its diameter, hairline crack to one saucer, hairlines to two of the three small cups, chip to rim of smaller open bowl, chip to rim or one larger cup and hairline to one other. All other items with no apparent damage.
