A SET OF TWELVE PARAGON CUPS AND SAUCERS with floral and gilt decoration, the saucers 14cm diameterCondition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting (where possible) any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition. Lot 150UPDATE CONDITION REPORT:One cup has an old hairline crack – please see additional images. No other chips or cracks, all other pieces have a good ring. Gilding is generally good and intact – certainly for the cups, very minor rubbing on some saucers, and the gilding differs slightly –ie two green saucers lacking a ring others have.
A Chinese export bowl, decorated with temples scenes, birds and blossoms, 29cm; together with a commemorative Spode plate, three Derby Imari style saucers and cup (6)The Spode plate has severe fading to the pattern and gilt with some areas of staining. Small hairline fractures to the base. The esport bowl has a chip to the rim and three areas with hair line fractures running down from the rim. Impact fracture lines on the base visible form the interior and the base. Fading to the pattern and decoration. The Imari style cup has a chip to the rim. The cup and saucers have fading to the gitl and decoration with markings throughout and some areas of patchy brown staining.

The two small bowls have crazing to the glaze and roughness to the base. The famille noir dish has a repair to the rim with discoloured glue marks. The tea strainer has staining to the inside and roughness to the holes. The saucers have chipping to the bases and fading to gilt. The smaller plates are 20.5cm diameter - One plate has a chip to the base, all have marking and staining commensurate with age and use, some with minor chipping to the rims and glaze faults. The three larger plates are 23cm diameter - Some with kiln and glaze faults and one with a fracture line to the base which is visible from the top.
