A Royal Worcester Holly Ribbons dinner service, comprising fourteen dinner plates, eighteen medium plates, twelve small plates, eight soup bowls, nine dessert bowls, twelve mugs, twelve saucers, sauce boat with stand, jug, three serving dishes (various), ashette and sugar basin (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This dinner service is generally in extremely good condition. None of the pieces are chipped, repaired, restored or damaged. The service has clearly had very little use. There is some minor rubbing to the gilding on approximately eight pieces but this is not significant. There are also slight variations in the colour of the ribbons. A number of pieces are a shade paler than the majority. In our opinion, some of the pieces are likely to be seconds but the majority are first quality. Every piece has made in England on the back stamp.
