Two Chinese blue and white porcelain tea bowls and saucers from The Nanking Cargo, Qianlong period, c.1750, painted with a pagoda on a rocky lakeside in underglaze blue, beneath a diaper border to the rim, the saucers 4½in. (11.5cm.) diameter, both with Christies lot label to base. (4)* Provenance: The Nanking Cargo sale, Christies Amsterdam, 28 April - 2 May 1985. Lot 5039.** Condition: One saucer with tiny rim frit. Otherise very good.

(15.5cm.) diameter; together with a Canton export side plate, 6½in. (16.5cm.) diameter. (9)* Condition: - Pair cups & saucers + single saucer: Good cdn - saucers have some wear to blue painted sky. No other faults. - Cup, saucer & tea bowl: Cup has small circular impact crack to rim. Chip and hairline to rim of saucer and hairline to tea bowl. - Canton plate: Good cdn., no faults.
A cased set of eight Royal Worcester for Asprey demitasse coffee cups and saucers, with puce printed factory marks, date code for 1935, the tapered pedestal cups with pointed scroll handles decorated in cerise with white scalloped panels enriched with gilded swags and oval rosettes, the interiors gilded, the cups 2¼in. (5.25cm.) high, in original black faux-leather case; together with a matched set of six Royal Worcester coffee cups and saucers with similar decoration, three cups and two saucers with a black ground and earlier date codes, 1918-1922, the case matched. (2)* Condition: 1. Complete cased set: Complete case contains one cup with tiny chip to foot rim, another cup has a 3mm patch of discoluration (we think probably in the glazing process). 2. Matched set (in similiar case): contains one cup with two tiny chips to foot rim, one cup with a chip (3 x 3mm) to cup rim exterior, one cup with tiny chip to foot rim - the three black decorated cups with similiar but inferior decoration (not for Aspreys) - one cup with tiny chip to foot rim and another with two 3 mm chips to rim. one plate has a green enamel dot missing.

Condition report: Condition report: restoration to covers of vases and small hairline to one vase and restoration to the top part of both. stapled repairs to the large shaped dish, three hairlines and a chip to the smaller bowl. Damages to some of the cups and saucers.

A large Haas & Czjezh dinner service, circa 1860, the borders monogrammed with the initials 'S A W', comprising, 4 cups, 14 coffee cups, 10 teacups and saucers, 2 milk jugs, 10 small side plates, 8 larger side plates, 8 soup plates, 37 dinner plates, 2 serving dishes, 1 meat plate and 1 salmon plate, the initials are those of Salomon Brandeis (1813 - 1877) and his wife, Auguste (1824 - 1900). Salomon was an importer in Vienna and was the British Consul General in Vienna
