AN EXTENSIVE LIMOGES 'LOUVRE' PART DINNER SERVICE MODERN Decorated with a green-ground and gilt cailloute band border comprising of 2 vegetable tureens and covers (32cm wide), 2 fish serving dishes (58cm long), 2 salad bowls (26cm diameter), 4 circular serving dishes (30cm diameter), 4 circular deep serving dishes (29cm diameter), 4 oval serving dishes (40cm wide), 4 oval meat dishes (43cm wide), 12 bonbon dishes (23cm long), 36 dinner plates (26.5cm diameter), 18 soup plates (22.5cm diameter), 36 side plates (22cm diameter), 36 sandwich plates (18.5cm diameter), 36 smaller plates (16.5cm diameter), 32 coffee cans and 36 saucers (saucers 10.5cm diameter), 18 tea cups and 18 saucers (saucers 14cm diameter) gilt factory marks Condition Report: No serious condition issues have been found but that is not to say there are none. At some point much of the service has been put away dirty and it will need a wash. There has been some deterioration of the gilt-line rims, but this is only really noticeable when the plates are stacked. Even if potential purchasers find the odd chip/imperfection you will still be left with a very large useable service. Dreweatts in no way warrant this service as 'perfect' and buyers are advised to view in person if they wish the minutiae of any condition. Lot 18th century Chinese Imari porcelain chocolate cup + saucers. Flower vase decoration + gold. Consisting of: 14 cups, of which six cups good, rest some chips. And 13 dishes, of which three dishes with chip, rest good. With six lids, of which four intact, two damaged. Dimensions: 7.5 - 14.5 cm. In reasonable/good condition.
