Chip to outside of pouring rim and another to spout lip. 2 coffee cans:- Pattern 854 condition okay 4 teacups:- Same pattern 854, rubbing to well gilding, all okay tea saucers:- Condition good, some gilding wear to raised interior leaves
Group of Canton ceramics to include famille rose baluster vase 34cm, famille rose teapot 14cm, footed bowl decorated with treasures 14.5cm dia. etc (9) CONDITION REPORT: Large jug: appears in good condition, gilding rubbed on rim. Small spot of stray green glaze to rim.Pair of matching saucers: good condition.Matching sugar basin: lid and base in good condition. Gilding on handles very worn. Stray green splash of glaze on side of one handle.Large teapot: lid in good condition. Body in good condition, gilding very worn on handles and glaze slightly rubbed on top of teapot.Bowl: frits to rim, glazes good and bright. Rubbed to interior and dull gilding on interior band. Small chip to rim, otherwise good.Small teapot: lid is missing, old rubber band pieces stuck to surface.Tea bowl: flat chip to rim exterior and small chip to rim, three hairlines, two in v-shape from rim, small frits to rim.
Japanese Satsuma coffee pot of pear shape decorated with Geisha and Kylin, sixteen character mark to base, 21cm high a/f also a set of six Satsuma coffee cans and saucers decorated with swallows and flowering acer, prunus, chrysanthemum and other trees (13) CONDITION REPORT: Coffee pot spout is broken off. Cleanly at the top of the break, but the other area is in pieces, some of which are inside the pot. Tiny chip to edge of lid (interior). Slight wear to gilding. Coffee saucers are marked wht for character Zhuanshu like mark. All are slightly dirty. Five cups appear ok, one has hairline. All six saucers appear ok.
