A Worcester Neo-classical double ogee shape cup and saucer, entwined handle, painted with a border of black husk festoons and gilt line above scattered coloured flower sprigs, gilt dentil borders, flower sprigs to cup centre, c.1790Provenance: The McShane Stephens Collection. The shape is very unusual. The saucer includes a slight well in the centre, similar to that seen on saucers made to accompany chocolate cups. Condition Report: Minor wear to decoration. Saucer good. Cup with light internal stress near handle.
