A Tek Sing Cargo blue and white ceramic tea bowl and saucers, decorated in underglaze blue with stylised motifs, tea bowl diameter 8cm, saucer diameter 12cm. The Tek Sing Cargo comes from the Tek Sing (meaning true star) wreck which sank in 1822 in the South China seas and was rediscovered and salvaged by Mike Hatcher in recent years, the contents of which were sold en mass at the Najel auctions and this lot comes with original label from this sale (illustrated)
