A 1920s-30s Japanese porcelain tea set in the Art Deco taste - in pale grey-blue lustre glaze with decoration of stylised white cranes, comprising an ovoid teapot, covered milk jug and two-handled covered sugar basin, all with twin flower finials, six cups and saucers and six tea plates, iron red printed 'rising sun' factory marks with initials RS, the teapot 19.5cm high. * One of the plates has a star crack to the centre of the base (visible from top and underside). One cup has a small glaze flaw to the rim from manufacture and another has a tiny firing flaw to the side of the the bowl. The plates all have some contact scuffs and light scratches to the blue-grey glaze. The saucers have a little very light contact scuffing to the glaze. There are no other faults.

The other with one pinhead size glaze frit to rim.- 21cm square serving bowl: Glaze crazing to base with some browned discolouration- 19cm shallow square serving dish: Some glaze scratching to interior (not unsightly) and glaze wear to edges of base.- 26cm oblong platter: A little glaze scratching to upper surface and edges of base from use.- Coffee can: Glaze crazing.- Two-handled covered soup bowl: Some glaze crazing with browned discolouration to the bowl.

A small collection of Art Deco mid-20th century china - including a Shelley octagonal teapot, two cups and three saucers in the 'Sunrise and Tall Trees' pattern; a Shelley part-tea service in the 'Blue Phlox' pattern, comprising a cream jug, two tea cups, five saucers and six tea plates; a Shelley 'Dainty Blue' pattern sandwich plate; and a six person part tea service by Tuscan China in the 'Plant' pattern, comprising six each of tea cups, saucers and tea plates, plus a cream jug, sugar bowl and sandwich plate.* The teapot has a crack at the base of the handle. The matching saucers has a few small glaze scratches to the centre. The Blue Phlox jug has a hairline to the rim and both Blue Phlox cups have a crack to the base. All of the other pieces are in good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.

Two porcelain cabaret sets - one early 20th century, Continental, with a circular two-handled tray, coffee pot, cream jug, sugar basin (one handle a/f) and three cups and saucers, painted in the Aesthetic taste with purple flowers and blue and gilt panels, the rope handles in blue and gilt, on gilt knot feet, the coffee pot 16cm high; the other smaller, probably Japanese, post-war, painted with blue flowers, the coffee pot 19cm.- Large tray cabaret set with blue handles: The sugar basin is missing one handle (the handle is in two pieces and inside the basin). The other handle also has an old glued repair. The other pieces are all in good condition, with some gilt wear to the decoration and the feet. - Smaller set with blue floral decoration: In good condition with no faults.
A late-Victorian cased set of twelve silver mounted coffee cans and saucers by Crown Staffordshire of Fenton - the silver hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1895, with pierced cherub, foliate and rocaille decoration and cast silver beast handle, the bone china with gilt floral swags, foliate and scale decoration, red-brown printed factory marks (a few later replacements with pale green marks), in a black morocco case from Mappin Bros. of London, with Royal blue silk and purple velvet fitted interior, the case 50 x 45cm (lacks two saucers, one can and the spoons); together with a smaller cased set of six silver mounted coffee cups and saucers by Shelley, the mounts by Adie Bros Ltd, Birmingham 1922, in plain white with gilt rims, in a fitted case. (lacks two cups and three other a/f with small chips and a hairline). (2)
