A 19th Century Derby part tea / coffee set, salmon pink and gilt banded with foliate decoration, comprising teapot, lidded sucrier, cream jug, slop bowl, shallow dish, nine coffee cans, eight cups, and one further cup (very damaged) and ten saucers CONDITION REPORTS Teapot - handle has been off and restored. There is also a chip to the spout. Twin-handled sucrier is missing one handle and is heavily discoloured and stained. One teacup is completely broken and all others have hairline fractures / crazing. The coffee cans - one has a bad hairline fracture running from top to bottom, another has a large chip to the rim. All have a dull sound and have crazing and discolouration. One saucer has a large chip to the rim. All items have heavy crazing, significant losses to the gilding and discolouration, etc. Heavy wear and tear conducive with age and use. An Edwardian Royal Worcester pale blue and gilt decorated set of six coffee cans and saucers date marked for 1901 together with six putti decorated silver cup holders (by William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London 1901) - cased CONDITION REPORTS Two coffee cans have obvious hairline cracks - see images. The remainder - all coffee cans have some crazing, particularly to the base. The saucers appear basically sound though with some wear to the extremities conducive with age and use. CONDITION REPORT: There are twelve side plates, twelve cups and saucers, two sandwich plates, a sugar bowl and milk jug. All appear to be in good order. No chips, cracks, crazing or staining. No obvious signs of restoration.
