CARLTON WARE; an early/mid-20th century coffee service, midnight blue mottled glaze and gilt-heightened, with gilded interior to each piece and gilt-heightened borders, to include coffee pot, height approx 19cm, sucrier, creamer six saucers and six cups.Provenance: Part of the Paul Lightfoot Collection. CONDITION REPORT There is some age-related wear in the form of some slight discolouration to the cups, but could possibly be remedied. No obvious signs of major damage or repair. One of the cups is slightly more faded than the others and has a hairline crack from the rim to halfway down the body of the cup.

CONDITION REPORT Overall age-related wear to each piece in the form of some discolouration, some loss of enamels and gilding. The bowl has a large crack to one side which has been repaired, but has resulted in some surface cracks and could be repaired more sympathetically. No obvious signs of restoration, chips or cracks to the other pieces. The coffee pot has obviously been used and there are some dark areas of discolouration to the body of the pot. There appear to be no major breaks, damage or signs of restoration to the coffee pot.

The pieces all only show minimal signs of use.
