CARLTON WARE; an early/mid-20th century coffee service, midnight blue mottled glaze and gilt-heightened, with gilded interior to each piece and gilt-heightened borders, to include coffee pot, height approx 19cm, sucrier, creamer six saucers and six cups.Provenance: Part of the Paul Lightfoot Collection. CONDITION REPORT There is some age-related wear in the form of some slight discolouration to the cups, but could possibly be remedied. No obvious signs of major damage or repair. One of the cups is slightly more faded than the others and has a hairline crack from the rim to halfway down the body of the cup.

A Japanese Meiji Period Satsuma coffee pot, with chrysanthemum, bird and scenic overall decoration, with applied band of leaves to the top and to the cover of the coffee pot, height 21cm, five matching plates, five saucers, a matching bowl, diameter 17.5cm (af) and a small teapot.Provenance: Part of the Paul Lightfoot Collection. CONDITION REPORT Overall age-related wear to each piece in the form of some discolouration, some loss of enamels and gilding. The bowl has a large crack to one side which has been repaired, but has resulted in some surface cracks and could be repaired more sympathetically. No obvious signs of restoration, chips or cracks to the other pieces. The coffee pot has obviously been used and there are some dark areas of discolouration to the body of the pot. There appear to be no major breaks, damage or signs of restoration to the coffee pot.

Royal Worcester 'Blue Dragon' tea servicedated 1908comprising twelve teacups; twelve saucers; twelve sideplates, 17cm diameter; a tall cream jug, 10.5cm high; a slop basin, 16.2cm diameter; and a pair of circular cake plates, 23cm diameter, printed factory marks and date codes (40)Condition report: Teacups - 1 teacup with crack to the interior. 1 teacup both cracked across the base and also crazed. 1 teacup with small hairline to rim and some crazing all over. 1 teacup with small hairline and crazing to the base. 3 teacups crazed. 5 remaining teacups with no damages or obvious crazing.Saucers - 1 with hairline crack around foot well and rim. 3 saucers crazed.Sideplates - good condition, no damages or repairs.Cake plates - good condition, no damages or repairs.Cream jug - some areas of fine crazing, a small stained apparent hairline to the interior of the handle.Slop basin - large crack around the foot rim, a section of the foot is now slightly separating from the bowl.Overall, the condition of the gilding is pretty good and the only piece which shows some more obvious rubbing is one of the cake plates. The pieces all only show minimal signs of use.
