A modern Wedgwood Tea/Dinner Service, decorated with the 'Lichfield' design, comprises: 8 Tea Cups and 3 larger Cups, 8 two handled circular Consomm‚ Bowls, 24 Saucers, Gravy Jug and Stand, pair of circular two handled covered Vegetable Tureens, an oval Platter, 2 Egg Cups, Sugar Bowl, 6 Dessert Bowls and 32 circular Plates in sizes
Three cups and saucers from the Kremlin service, Popov Manufactory, 1810-1860 (6) height of cups: 6.75cm., 2.75in; diameter of saucer: 13cm., 5in the original Kremlin service was commissioned by Nicholas I to the designs of professor Solntsev. He drew upon 17th Century metalwork as a model, and specifically a gold dish made in 1667 for the Tsaritsa Natalia Kirilovna. Replacements produced by Popov Manufactory are rarely found on the market.
