A Chinese famille rose U-shaped cup, painted with a boy in a garden with a large chicken between rockwork and flowers, the reverse with seventeen rows of calligraphy, the base with a six character Qianlong mark but 20th century, 8.3cm.Cf. A fine quality miquelet-lock pistol, length of barrel 40cm, the lock signed with gold seal with further gold decoration, fully stocked with silver ball trigger and ball butt, also profusely decorated with silver bands and complete with silver covered ramrod, with black niello enamel, geometric designs and calligraphy.
