A LARGE CHINESE BRONZE MIRROR IN ARCHAIC STYLE ON A CARVED HARDWOOD STAND, the mirror cast with central boss surrounded by calligraphy, figures, birds and auspicious objects, the stand finely fret carved, centred by a bat and mounted on hipped scroll feet. Diameter of mirror 39.5cm, height including stand 75cm, overall weight approximately 8-9 kg, approximate weight of the bronze 6 kg.
A Chinese silver and enamel box, the cover decorated with a dog of fo, calligraphy panels to front and back, worn maker's mark to base, height 3cm, width 3.5cm and a silver mounted red hardstone vase with dragon decorated mounts and handles, height 19cm. Condition report: Damage to enamel of box.

The enrichment students from Treloar worked as a collaborative group to bring together all their ideas and artwork to make this homage to Jane Austen for the 'Sitting with Jane' bench. Mark Downes drew Jane Austen's house, Conner Couzens contributed to quill and calligraphy, Theresa Bellingham researched and took photos of class staff and students to create silhouettes, Jamie Lynch contributed calligraphy and roses designs, and Georgina Dennington researched Regency flowers.
A large Chinese engraved bone calligraphy brush, early 20th century, the sectional bone handle engraved with figures in a wooded landscape, calligraphy to one side, 16½in. (42cm.) long; together with another similar brush, the ivory mounted bamboo handle engraved with a dragon and poem, 14in. (35.5cm.) long. (2)
Four antique Indian brass and bronze Lota vessels, varying forms, three with incised lined decoration and one also with engraved calligraphy to shoulder, 4¼in. to 4¾in. (10.75cm. to 12cm.) high; together with a bronze deity figure, 20th century, 4 7/8in. (12.4cm.) high. (5) * Condition: All have been polished. One with split to rim. Another with small dent to widest part of body. Good overall.
Two Chinese famille rose export porcelain teapots, Republic period, one of tapered circular form, painted in enamels with four immortals and calligraphy, 3¼in. (8.25cm.) high, the other of cup form, painted in colours with noble figures and their attendants in landscapes, red printed seal mark to base, 3 5/8in. (9.25cm.) high, both with peach finial to cover; together with a Chinese famille verte rouleau vase, 20th century, enamelled with a peacock standing on a rock amidst flowering peonies, 10¼in. (26cm.) high. (3)* Condition: - Immortals teapot: Hairline to sides and below joint of spout and body. Gilt wear to rim. - Other teapot: Gilt wear to rim and finial. Two very small glaze chips to tip of spout. Otherwise good. - Vase: Good condition, with no chips or cracks. Minor wear to gilt to centre of one flower.
A Japanese carved and engraved ivory egg, 1920s-30s, one side engraved and stained with a montainous lakeland landscape, the other with calligraphy, 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high; together with a Japanese gilt lacquer and shibayama decorated fan, 8¼in. (21cm.) long, one stick broken; and a small carved ivory okimono, 2in. (5cm.) high. (3) * Condition: - Egg: Front has some sun bleaching. Very faint vertical hairline crack to ivory to right side of egg. - Fan: One leaf lost from shibayama inlay. One guard broken through hinge hole at base. One bamboo stick broken. A few small splits to silk leaf. - Okimono: Small hole visible to lower edge of right hand basket - a piece possibly missing? No other damage noted.
