A pair of porcelain bowls decorated to the outside with famille rose pattern of a scholar standing in long robes, right arm raised; to the other side a female in long courtly robes and headdress looking back; between a table with a set of calligraphy brushes, writing underneath; to the other side a medallion with floral border with Chinese writing to the centre; spurious reign mark to the base. 355 grams total, 12cm (4 3/4").
