Ru Pu (China, 1896 - 1963) Pair of Original Ink on Gold-Flecked Paper Calligraphy Scrolls. With artist's seal on left portion of scroll. Pu Ru was born in Beijing, China in 1896. Pu Hsinyu is a well-known painter and calligrapher. He was born in the royal Imperial Manchu family as the grandson of the Emperor, near the end of the Qing Dynasty.
